Key Responsibilities
- Subject matter expertise & decision-making: Responsible for developing subject matter expertise within a specialized area of financial planning (e.g., basic retirement savings strategies) and developing and maintaining the firm’s advice and guidance for their area.
- Analysis: Responsible for conducting research on well-scoped projects for straightforward topics, which may include qualitative and quantitative research and analysis; recommending decision-making frameworks; and drafting reports and other resources communicating the firm’s advice and guidance.
- Communications: Responsible for communicating their team’s advice and guidance accurately, primarily through written channels such as strategy reports and articles. May also present verbally to branch audiences.
- Works in partnership: Responsible for effectively collaborating with other analysts/strategists to support team and department objectives.
- This is not a client-facing position, and it is not expected to consult on client-specific situations.

- Solid foundational knowledge of financial planning concepts and strategies.
- May have more detailed knowledge of a specific area of financial planning, such as retirement, tax, estate, protection, etc., but not required.

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
