You will serve as the central point of accountability, coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality built environments that meet business, operational, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
Project Lifecycle & Planning
- Lead projects through all phases: planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closing
- Develop and maintain key project deliverables including project directory, meeting minutes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria aligned with stakeholder requirements
Scope, Schedule & Cost Management
- Manage and control project scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and track progress against milestones
- Prepare, review, and manage cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor expenditures, manage contingencies, and ensure financial performance
- Oversee and control change management processes, including change orders
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Identify and coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, leasing teams, and design teams, and contractors
- Serve as the primary point of content for project communications and reporting
- Lead project meetings and ensure clear documentation of decisions, risks, and actions
- Provide regular reporting on project performance, risks, and issue resolution
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Lead procurement processes, including RFPs, bidding, contractor selection, and contract negotiation
- Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle
- Procure materials, equipment, and services required for project delivery
- Oversee contract compliance, performance, and deliverables
Construction Execution & Field Coordination
- Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, architects, engineers, and field teams
- Monitor on-site progress, productivity, and quality of work
- Ensure alignment between design intent and field execution
- Maintain oversight of site logistics, materials, and workforce coordination
Risk, Quality & Compliance Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including schedule, cost, and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, permits, and environmental regulations
- Enforce workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements
- Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet specifications
Financial & Contract Administration
- Review, approve, and process pay applications, invoices, and contract changes
- Track and manage budget performance, change orders, and financial reporting
- Ensure accurate financial reconciliation at project closeout
Monitoring, Reporting & Closeout
- Track project KPIs including schedule adherence, cost variance, and quality metrics
- Manage issue resolution to minimize delays and cost overruns
- Conduct project closeout, including documentation, punch lists, and final inspections
- Lead post-project evaluations and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
Current home-based associates please note: Even as a hybrid posted role you are eligible to apply and, if selected, may retain your home-based status. However future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work and some roles may carry a preference for hybrid presence.
Skills/Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction or renovation projects
- Strong knowledge of construction project lifecycle, methodologies, and project management principles
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with contract administration, procurement, and vendor management
- Working knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- Certifications such as CCM, OSHA, or LEED are a plus
- Experience in corporate real estate, workplace, or enterprise environments
- Experience using construction/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, BIM tools)
