As a senior transitional financial advisor, you’ll help ensure clients continue receiving the guidance, support and personalized service they expect during periods of practice transition. As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide continuity for clients, strengthen relationships and help deliver a consistent Edward Jones experience while supporting practice teams across the country.
In this highly visible role, you’ll quickly establish trust and navigate evolving client needs. Through sound judgment, personalized guidance and a commitment to doing what’s right, you’ll play a critical role in preserving client relationships.
This role offers the opportunity to make an impact where it’s needed most while partnering closely with practice teams, field leaders and home office teams. Extensive travel (100%) is required, with assignments supporting branch locations across the country and home visits typically scheduled every other weekend.
What You’ll Do

Serve as the primary financial advisor for clients during periods of practice transition, helping maintain continuity and confidence in the client experience

Preserve and strengthen client relationships by providing personalized financial guidance, proactive outreach and responsive service

Quickly establish trust with clients, understand their needs and provide appropriate investment guidance aligned with firm standards and regulatory requirements

Partner closely with branch office administrators and field leaders to deliver a seamless transition experience and maintain exceptional client service

Address outstanding client requests, research service concerns and help resolve issues with urgency and care

Exercise sound judgment when identifying and escalating compliance, risk or field service concerns

Travel extensively to support branch locations across the country while adapting to changing business needs and assignments
Skills/Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor

Series 7 and 66 licenses required

Insurance licenses required: life, health and variable annuity
-
Commit to traveling 1-2 weeks/trimester

Extensive flexibility, reliability and strong decision-making skills

Strong communication and organizational skills

Strong telephone and customer-service skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred

Demonstrated decision-making, communication and organizational skills

Strong client service focus and the ability to navigate changing priorities and assignments

Ability and willingness to travel extensively in support of branch coverage needs
