The Digital, Data, and Operations (DDO) Risk works as a dedicated first line risk management organization to identify, manage, and elevate the top risks of the Firm’s Digital, Data, and Operations divisions by consistently applying the Enterprise Risk Management framework, derived from the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), across all three divisions. Our goal is to create alignment, transparency and visibility into the three divisions’ risk profiles that foster good risk management practices. This position is aligned to the Governance & Reporting team within the Risk Enablement vertical of DDO Risk. The Governance & Reporting team is focused on establishing governance and reporting structures to ensure leader visibility into top risks while developing risk profiles in Digital, Data and Operations, in alignment with Enterprise Risk Management and established policies. Other teams in Risk Enablement lead risk consultation and assessment execution for the Operations Transformation and AI efforts.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
- Manage the ongoing DDO Risk Governance Sub-team and Committee meeting process
- Create and implement a framework for applying and ensuring compliance with the new enterprise Policy on Policies and corresponding standard (the Standard) for the DDO community
- Represent DDO Risk as a member of the Policy Governance Working Group and establish a feedback loop between working group outcomes and DDO Risk
- Continuously seek out improvement opportunities for processes that support DDO Risk Governance and Policy on Policies
- Assist DDO in ensuring policies, standards and procedures are consistent with ERM policies and standards
- Acts as resource to team and assists DDO associates related to the Policy on Policies standards and for executing the DDO Risk Governance process.
- Assists in development of DDO associate/leader risk training and education for Enterprise and DDO risk management programs
- Stays informed on risk industry and educational/development opportunities
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field but can be substituted with relevant work experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience based on responsibilities indicated above
What Could Set You Apart:
- Previous or existing risk management experience
- Broker – Dealer industry knowledge
- Experience developing and communicating training materials and other resource guides
- Project Management Experience
***Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***
