On the Financial Services Desktop product team, our goal is to support the Salesforce platform for branch teams to fully utilize its capabilities and assist in the firms longer term strategy of moving away from legacy infrastructure into cloud and SaaS solutions. As the Business Support Specialist II, you will represent the department by participating in or leading cross-departmental working groups to solve key problems of the area, execute on firm deliverables, and influence change within the capability.

- Document requirements in a clear and concise format & collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather insights
- Collaborate with the development and testing teams to clarify requirements during defect resolution and prepare test scenarios, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by conducting walkthroughs with end-users, and addressing test-related questions
- Assist in gathering basic functional and non-functional requirements & collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and prioritize requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user and client behaviors, translating insights into actionable requirements for the product team. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and product team, ensuring capabilities align with user needs and drive value delivery.
- Analyze and improve existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Act as a support resource for development teams by clarifying basic requirements and ensuring documentation is accessible and up to date & act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on requirements.
- Help prepare user guides, training materials, or quick-reference documents & collaborate with project managers and technical teams to finalize deployment plans.
- Monitor initial system usage post-deployment, escalating issues to senior team members & monitor post-deployment performance and help identify and triage any immediate issues
- Identify potential risks to projects and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing functional systems and enhancements to existing systems, including:
- Change Management Tools & Methodologies
- Solid understanding of business analysis principles, SDLC, and agile frameworks.
- Competent in leveraging tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.

***Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***
