Production Services Technology Change Management is looking for a Change Manager to fulfill a contributor role on our Change Management team.
Tech PS Change Management is responsible for guarding and protecting the Production environment utilizing ITIL best practices for Change Management.
Our Change Management team is specifically responsible for assessing impact, reviewing plans, prioritizing conflicts, and managing the risk associated with the Edward Jones Digital Change portfolio.
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, who can be a functional member of our Change Management team and drive adherence to best practices and disciplines throughout our organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a point of contact in coordinating all levels of Change within the Enterprise
- Perform Change reviews around technical details of the Change lifecycle for Change readiness with implementers and stakeholders
- Proactively detect and prevent conflicts in Change schedules
- Help coordinate with technical teams around Change planning and scheduling
- Support the Change Manager in Change coordination and documentation
- Assist in preparing Change Advisory Board (CAB) agendas and/or meeting notes, or updating Changes with CM Note entries for actions taken during CAB meetings
- Coordinate and host/conduct meetings with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to discuss High-Risk Changes
- Monitor and maintain the functionality of the Change Management system and applications
- Develop and maintain procedural documentation to contributes to overall process maturity and governance
- Engage with stakeholders to raise awareness of and adherence to Change policies, processes, practices, and procedures
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to refine processes and procedures to deliver and maintain service more efficiently
- Deliver training and educational sessions as well as process refreshers to stakeholders and customers
- Review and analyze Change metrics and trends, Change impact during Major Incidents as needed for leadership reports
- Be rotational on-call Change Manager for off hours support for Change activities.
- Coordinate and communicate Change Management process modifications across Digital and drive adoption of standard practices
- Audit the completeness and accuracy of all Changes using the ServiceNow Platform

- Independently managing moderate-to-complex Changes with a focus on Risk and Impact analysis
- Ensuring the Change process is followed, so Changes meet established guidelines and procedures
- Managing the risk associated with the Edward Jones Digital Change portfolio and ensuring stability within the Production environment
Skills/Requirements
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation certification
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes with real-time experience in Technology (IT) Change Management
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field of study
- Five+ years’ experience in a Technology Change Management program focused on ensuring relevant Change Management procedures, controls, and best practices are followed
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience working and communicating with leaders as well as cross-functional teams
- Analytical skills to help identify impact of modifications and improvements needed in the Change Management process
- Good understanding of how Release Management works along with Change Management
- Experience with the following Microsoft tools – Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Visio
What may set you apart:

- Additional ITIL certifications beyond Foundation certification
- Experience with other ITSM disciplines and ITIL partnering areas – (Problem Management, Event Management, Incident Management, Major Incident Management, Continuous Service Improvement)
- Exposure to integration discussions with internal ITSM tools and development teams
- Good understanding of Process and System Automation patterns which will enable integrating and automating Change Management
- Experience in designing, implementing, or enhancing Change workflows and Approval models with CMDB knowledge
Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
