This position is responsible for strategic consulting on the execution of the firm’s AI and automation. The primary focus of this consulting is on applying AI and automation solutions to help solve major barriers to the success of firm strategies. The role is expected to link strategic needs across firm strategies and divisions. This role is highly independent and provides coaching and guidance to leaders and team members (within own area and across the firm). This role is expected to be a model actor of a team-based approach and will often lead in a matrix leader fashion across several HO capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting on the successful execution of multiple division and enterprise AI efforts (e.g., design and implementation of AI agents) simultaneously using superior thought leadership, interpersonal skills, and professional expertise.
- Proactively identifies and builds requirements and integration plan (including scope, timeline, metrics, and resources) for business leaders, from across the firm, to ensure solutions are built consistent to business needs and implemented within and across divisions.
- Clearly outline the trade-offs in the requirements (enterprise and division level) for stakeholders to align on value, critical path, and ownership; and make recommendations based on well-developed point of view.
- Work effectively in a matrixed organization and often lead the matrix team toward the agreed upon milestones. Identify, direct and coordinate resources (people, systems, tools) without direct authority. Independently manage prioritization of work execution of the group.
- Represent and explain complex concepts and tools to a variety of audiences (OC members, Division leaders as well associates in small and large groups) by putting the solutions into their context.
- Validate assumptions of client needs, market dynamics, and regulatory constraints using internal/external data to lead the formulation of enterprise level work; making recommendations to senior leaders on solution approach.
- Consult with business leaders (VT leaders, division leaders, sr GPs) on the design and execution of innovative solutions; work closely with AI experts in the lab to confirm technical feasibility – represent both the business and technical sides.
- Independently lead multi-disciplinary teams (comprised of 5+ people and disciplines) to address complex enterprise level business questions, maintain work progress, track progress and accountability to requirements; disciplines include analytics, data science, tech, AI, qualitative research, and social science.
- Ensure project schedule, scope, and quality objectives are consistent between business requirements and technical design, taking corrective action, and escalating issues when necessary; leading multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Proactively initiate and recommend various methodologies to address enterprise business issues commensurate to the size of the opportunity and economic impact. Assess business feasibility and communicate tradeoffs and key dependencies in compelling/concise ways in a manner appropriate for the specific audience.
- Independently identify patterns across initiatives within and across divisions; make recommendations related to consolidation or alignment. Explain the risks and tradeoffs.
- Facilitate alignment sessions, working sessions, and workshops with key stakeholders and senior executives, incorporating novel/outside-the-box engagement tactics and methods, resulting in aligned decisions/recommendations and high participant engagement.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years of experience in consulting and/or business development experience
- Understand, analyze, and recommend various research methodologies (both qualitative and quantitative) to address firm-wide business issues.
- Knowledge of statistics and analytical methodologies.

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
