As an Oracle HCM Configuration Analyst, you will be a key partner in the design, optimization, and management of Human Capital systems and tools to enhance efficiency and deliver leading human capital services. This work includes serving as a SME for low code/no code configuration changes to the platform, working with the Human Capital business leaders to translate their strategic and operational needs to technological solutions and preserving content and data integrity.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
- Partner with stakeholders across teams to gather and document business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Identify necessary functionality and system enhancements to deliver innovative solutions.
- Leverage platform analytics and reporting capabilities to generate actionable insights on user engagement, and process effectiveness—partnering with GPOs to refine as needed, build journeys, and ensure capabilities are in line with evolving business needs.
- Work closely with GPOs, HC leaders, Transformation and Optimization leader to identify capability needs and enhancements for the system.
- Engage with business areas to review business process and process mapping as it relates to system functionality.
- Create technical specifications and related design documents for new application enhancements. Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders and internal teams, as necessary.
- Configure HR technology platforms (e.g., Oracle, ServiceNow, etc.) to meet business needs using low/no-code tools. Design workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to optimize HR operations. Test and validate system configurations to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements.
- Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution. Provide expertise and guidance on system capabilities and best practices. Train HR teams and end-users on system functionalities and enhancements.
- Continuously evaluate processes to identify opportunities for efficiency. improvements and the elimination of manual tasks. Standardize, streamline, and coordinate business and system processes to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Partner with Usability & Accessibility team members to make sure all elements of Oracle HCM usable and accessible.
- Support HR technology implementations and upgrades by contributing to project planning, testing, and deployment. Document system configurations, updates, and processes for future reference.
Skills/Requirements
- 2+ years of experience and expertise in Oracle HCM, with experience in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, including:
- Strong understanding of low/no-code tools for system configuration and workflow design.
**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
