Wealth Management and Financial Management (WMFM) is responsible for leading the firm in ensuring our clients are on track to meet their financial goals. The Edward Jones Trust Company provides a full range of trust, investment management, and custody services to individuals, businesses, charitable organizations, and private foundations.
What You Will Do:
The Trust Advising Specialist II serves as a technical subject matter expert in Edward Jones systems and Trust Data. Much of this work requires a broad and deep understanding of the firm’s systems and tools – and the branch and client experience – to help create and shape Edward Jones Trust Company’s (EJTC) integration into and continued maintenance of the connections with those systems and tools. These integrations will be critical to the experience provided to branch teams and clients. This role has strong partnerships with the HNW, DPM and Tech teams, and requires informal people leadership through Trust Company initiatives and formal thought leadership.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with EJTC areas (Administration, Investments, Fiduciary, Legal, New Business, Operations, Finance, Compliance) and EJ (DPM, Technology, A&G, HNW, Generations) to help create and maintain integrated connections with Edward Jones
- Has a thorough understanding of Edward Jones and Edward Jones Trust Company business model, investment philosophy and values
- Coordinate the process of updating and applying EJTC data through all firm capabilities
- Assist with leading and coordinating EJTC and HNW/Private Wealth Integration work in partnership with key stakeholders and functional teams
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for key stakeholders (DPM, Technology, internal EJTC areas) and external stakeholders (SEI, SalesForce, etc) to ensure EJTC business objectives are carried out through application and messaging
- Collaborate with key stakeholders as the EJTC SME throughout the life cycle of projects, including planning, design and implementation
- Work in partnership with other firm areas to problem-solve complex issues that arise regarding EJTC technology and integrations to EJ’s systems and tools
- Monitor industry trends, competitors and regulatory changes. Assess how those trends impact our business

Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of relevant experience required
- CFP® designation required or acquired within 18 months of hire
- Strong technical knowledge and experience required
- Broad exposure to and solid foundational knowledge of investments, financial planning, financial planning tools and project management process
- Ability to guide, persuade and influence others through the developed skills of communication and diplomacy
What Could Set You Apart:
- Experience with Edward Jones client and branch team tools, including MoneyGuide, Portfolio, Proposal Tool, JonesLink and other related tools
- Master’s degree
- 6+ years of relevant experience
*Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
