Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) is responsible for leading the firm in ensuring our clients are on track to meet their financial goals. Products is an area within WMAS focused on enabling personalized client outcomes by leading the strategy and evolution of the firm’s wealth management offering. We lead and coordinate product strategy and ongoing product management. We also provide clients with a broad supply of quality products and services, aligned with the firm’s advice and guidance, to meet our clients’ personalized needs.
Edward Jones Advisory Solutions is designed for investors who prefer to leave the day-to-day investing decisions to professionals. Following the firm’s investment philosophy and guidance, investment professionals select investments and combine them into model portfolios. The firm’s investment professionals manage the portfolio for the client, handling day-today decisions and rebalancing to keep the accounts in line with the client’s risk tolerance and goals. The Advisory Solutions Program Management Team is responsible for managing and supporting the accounts in the program, and enhancing features, capabilities, and processes. The team is also responsible for executing strategic enhancements to the programs.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with the team in developing and executing the firm’s Investment Advisory product strategy to ensure branch teams have quality Firm Discretionary products and the support needed to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Design, develop, and manage innovative Firm Disceretionary offerings and capabilities that align with firm advice and guidance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Determine the data, insights and analysis needed to inform product strategy and development.
- Responsible for AS Fund and UMA programs, as well as the consolidated IAP program to:
- Manage and maintain the portfolio of products, features and services, including making recommendations to add / remove / change products, features or services as needed.
- Shape and drive execution of business plans that align with firm strategic direction.
- Influence the design and development of integrated platforms, systems, tools and processes that create a better client and branch team experience.
- Resolve complex / broad product issues as escalated. Determine root cause and apply systems thinking to prevent future occurrences
- Ensure that product literature and wholesaling support is effective (quantity and quality), aligned with key firm messages, and compliant. Assist in the design of efficient and effective ongoing processes and controls.
- Understand and interpret rules and potential rule changes in the tax, legal and regulatory environment for the advisory programs and lead any necessary changes; make recommendations that help shape the firm position with respect to tax, legal and regulatory issues for these programs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the AS Fund and UMA product lines for the firm. Includes advanced knowledge of services, capabilities, products, features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace. Investment Advisory Products include model portfolios, SMAs, Bridgebuilder Funds, firm discretionary programs.
- Lead significant additional responsibilities specific to the team or area, such as new feature or product launches.
- Lead broad division, firm, or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the product line in alignment with firm strategy (Eg. cross-divisional projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc.)
- Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and effectiveness of the programs while minimizing risk to clients and the firm.
- Mentor team members and assist in the ongoing development of their subject matter expertise.

Skills/Requirements
What Experience You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire
- 7+ years of relevant financial services experience, Investment Advisory experience preferred.
- Deep subject matter expertise in product line products
- Exceptional technical aptitude and analytical skills
- Highly collaborative
- Highly effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with systems and tools including MS Office, Tableau and databases
What Could Set You Apart:
- Advanced degree or relevant industry designation(s) preferred. MBA, CFP, CIMA, CPA, CFA, etc
Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
