The Edward Jones Connection Team at Edward Jones exists to enable branch team to optimize their practice by creating capacity, through serving clients in partnership. As the key connection between branches and the home office, you’ll play a vital role in driving positive results in the core profit center of the firm and in gaining critical insights that shape our business. We are seeking professional, organized, and motivated associates to serve in the role of Edward Jones Connection Client Solutions Specialist to provide support to clients while working in partnership with Sr. Financial Advisors and other associates on the team. The Client Solutions Specialist is focused primarily on ensuring the segmented client model is applied to reactive and proactive client needs and they own the onboarding experience for branch teams that opt into the EJC Program.
We serve clients across multiple locations, your specific schedule will take into account your location’s time zone and may vary based on the needs of the department. Core hours of operation for most associates in the department will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm locally.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable serving as a phone service representative and spending a great deal of time answering and placing phone calls. Responsibilities:
· Provide strong customer service and support for our client’s urgent financial and account related needs.
· Accurately responds to callers with appropriate tone, organized thoughts, and confidence.
· Must be able to multi-task and follow-up appropriately to take issues to resolution. This includes generating strong and efficient internal processes to demonstrate efficiency in serving clients and branch teams.
· Understand the client’s financial need without any previous interaction, quickly building trust by effectively evaluating appropriate solutions utilizing the policies, tools, resources and guidance provided by the firm.
· Ability to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service to our clients, while fulfilling the firm’s regulatory requirements.
· This role requires the ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple individuals throughout the team to serve clients in partnership. This may also include working closely with other team members outside the team and stakeholders.
· Plan, prioritize and execute client account needs for a large volume of households across multiple branch teams and home office teams in a teaming concept.
· Demonstrate a change mindset through flexibility and willingness to shift between projects/priorities when working in a fast-paced, dynamic marketing environment as well as demonstrated ability to work independently, with little to no direction or leader involvement. This
includes ability to prioritize and execute on multiple tasks/projects and adjust to changing priorities.
· Complete necessary and topical training and keep up to date on changes in process or information necessary to the do the job.
· Responsible for continually learning on the job through daily department emails, team/department meetings, and Continuing Education sessions.
· Contribute to the overall success of the team/department by acting as a resource for others and by owning/supporting new initiatives, projects, or process changes.

Skills/Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required due to the direct contact with Edward Jones’ clients. Must be able to understand and communicate rationale for solutions-based advice, research opinions, fees, portfolio recommendations, account solutions, estate planning, tax implications, current/future market conditions, industry trends, and financial topics in the headlines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in their respective product or financial services industry or equivalent tools/systems or combination of experience and education.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and apply technical information. Familiarity in Salesforce, Money guide, Excel is a plus.
- Experience with understanding complex branch/client needs and autonomously seeking out innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Series 7 and 66 preferred with in depth product knowledge and an understanding of industry regulations, as well as the ability to discuss financial matters competently and articulately.
- Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis,MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday
