This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop deep expertise in Estates Operations through project execution, and business process improvement within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The individual will learn the end-to-end lifecycle of product launches, system enhancements, testing, risk management, and stakeholder engagement while supporting initiatives that impact clients, branches, and business partners.
The position offers significant exposure to cross-functional teams, data-driven decision-making, compliance requirements, and operational strategy. Through hands-on involvement in projects and continuous collaboration with experienced leaders and subject matter experts, the associate will build the skills needed to independently manage increasingly complex initiatives, influence business outcomes, and grow into a trusted product and operations leader.
Responsibility Summary:
· Plan and execute projects, enhancements and processes; including the launch of new products or product partners and enhancements to existing tools and systems.
· Serves as a key contact for requirement identification and verification for new products and tools.
· Lead the testing of enhancements and upgrades with responsibility for the identification, tracking of issues, and implementation of solutions.
· Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and begin to collaborate and build consensus with leaders from multiple divisions.
· Adopt processes for risk controls (e.g. Privacy, Business Continuity Planning, Record Information Management, Written Supervisory Procedures) and coordinate with departments to complete the applicable requirements.
· Collaborate with Firm Analytics to leverage data for insights and reporting needed to inform business decisions and communicate results.
· Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex and confidential data.
· Broadening and deepening Subject Matter Expertise in assigned product area(s) of emphasis.
· Share knowledge to help develop other associates.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in a financial services environment (or equivalent) required
- Strong industry knowledge including an understanding of rules and regulations and how they impact the business area
- Must have proven problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills
- Must have the ability to proactively identify risks and design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High level of learning agility
- Experience working across different software applications, i.e. Excel, SQL, Power BI, to analyze data and utilize macros, formulas, and queries.
