Problem Solving
Problems are generally moderate in scope and may be partially unstructured. Associates use analysis and judgment to develop recommendations while seeking guidance for more complex matters.
Decision Making
Decisions are low to moderate in impact and generally influence team priorities, analyses, and recommendations. Non-routine decisions are typically escalated to more senior team members.
Span of Influence
The span of influence in this position is low to moderate. Complex issues with broad scope will require involvement of more senior team members. Regularly interface with associates in Compliance, Firm Analytics, Firm Strategy, Legal, Products, Branch Development, and Service.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with product leaders and team members to support product strategy, development, and execution activities.
- Analyze data, trends, advisor feedback, and business performance metrics to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support product and partner relationships of limited to moderate complexity.
- Assist with business cases, product reviews, competitive analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Help ensure product literature, communications, and training materials are accurate, effective, and compliant.
- Develop knowledge of assigned product lines, industry trends, and regulatory considerations.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Service, Finance, and other stakeholders to support initiatives and resolve issues.
- Lead selected workstreams and process improvement opportunities with guidance from team leadership.
- Maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses used to measure product performance and adoption.
- Participate in division, firm, and industry initiatives as needed.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; quantitative disciplines preferred (finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering, actuarial science, business analytics, or related fields).
- Series 7 and Series 66 required within 12 months of hire.
- Progress toward or interest in relevant industry designations such as CFP, CFA, CIMA, ChFC, CPA or similar credentials is preferred.
- Generally, 0-3 years of relevant financial services, business analysis, product, or investment experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical/reporting tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.
