What You’ll Do:
- As a Product Operations Manager, you will serve as a trusted operational, financial, and data partner to portfolio and product leadership, enabling execution excellence through strong operational discipline, financial stewardship, and actionable insights.
- Own and streamline end-to-end portfolio operational processes, including funding, invoicing, resource management, and governance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency across firm-approved tools.
- Manage portfolio resource and financial operations by maintaining accurate staff rosters, headcount tracking, forecasts, budgets, and total cost of ownership views; perform monthly variance analysis and clearly communicate drivers and insights to leadership.
- Establish, document, and scale best practices for operational workflows, data quality, metrics, reporting, and communications, driving consistent execution and continuous improvement across products and programs.
- Serve as the portfolio’s data and insights champion by partnering with portfolio leadership, data owners, and planning partners to define key metrics, maintain critical datasets, and deliver actionable insights through dashboards, reporting, and storytelling.
- Deliver regular portfolio-level operational reviews highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and execution impact to support informed decision-making.
- Drive strong cross-product, portfolio, program, and stakeholder engagement through clear communications, alignment forums, and structured feedback loops.
- Partner with product and delivery leaders to enable operational readiness, including onboarding new team members, activating tools and access, and supporting effective operating rhythms to accelerate productivity.
- Support planning and intake processes to ensure new work is evaluated, prioritized, and accurately reflected in portfolio plans, forecasts, and reporting.
Skills/Requirements
What Experience You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in product management, project management, program management, or operational financial management within technology or operational teams.
- 3+ years of experience in project, program, financial, or portfolio operations management supporting multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, forecasts, invoices, and performing variance analysis. Ability to examine the drivers behind variances and take ownership of implementing solutions that correct issues and reduce repeat variances at the project level and up to the enterprise level
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate data across multiple tools and minimize execution exceptions.
- Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments, partnering with product, technology, finance, and third-party vendors to drive results.
- Strong data-driven problem-solving skills, including identifying trends, generating insights, and translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously, adapt to shifting needs, and ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
