- Execute a variety of operational functions with a strong understanding of end-to-end workflows.
- Support in-office operations including:
- Daily mail processing
- Vault custodian activities with dual control
- Check printing and check receipt processing
- Collecting and submitting required client documents for transaction processing
- Follow-up calls with external firms
- Take ownership of inquiries, effectively prioritize work, consistently meet deadlines, and follow through appropriately.
- Serve as a flexible team resource, stepping in where needed based on workload, staffing fluctuations, and department priorities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation to drive efficiency and quality.
- They may participate in and/or lead special projects, both inside and outside of the department.
The role provides hands-on exposure to trust operations, including mail processing, custody and vault support, check processing, document gathering, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Skills/Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry or related field experience is required.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and quality to ensure department goals and deadlines are met or exceeded as well as being adaptable to change.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a heavy workload in order to be able to fulfill the needs of the client and EJTC teams.
- Strong customer service focus that supports the firm’s commitment to exceed client needs and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Takes initiative; motivated self-starter and detailed orientated, able to meet deadlines while working independently.
- Excellent Excel skills.
