Payment and Banking Solutions is seeking a cross-functional operations professional responsible for supporting multiple teams and processes within the department. This role requires broad operational expertise, strong independent judgment, and the ability to flex across workflows to meet business demands while maintaining a high standard of client service, accuracy, and efficiency.
The Department Generalist serves as a key departmental resource, ensuring work is completed accurately and timely while contributing to process improvements, risk management, and overall operational effectiveness.
Core Responsibilities:
· Perform a variety of operational tasks, including processing, servicing, and reconciliation
· Provide cross-team support based on business needs and workload demands
· Resolve complex issues and escalations, partnering with internal teams and stakeholders
· Deliver a high-quality client experience with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and responsiveness
· Help monitor workflow and ensure work is completed within service expectations
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
· Support projects, system enhancements, and change initiatives
· Assist with training and mentoring team members
Skills/Requirements
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience preferred
· 4+ years of experience in financial services or operations (brokerage, banking, insurance, etc.)
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with financial systems/tools preferred
