The Branch Real Estate Construction Specialist, Enterprise Workplace Services plays a critical role in delivering construction projects that support Edward Jones’ branch network and growth strategy. This position provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for construction activities across an assigned territory, including new branch buildouts, relocations, renovations, and other real estate initiatives. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders, field leadership, vendors, and service providers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, the Construction Specialist drives continuous improvement, manages vendor performance, and influences decisions that enhance the firm’s real estate portfolio and branch experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects including branch buildouts, relocations, renovations, and special initiatives.
- Partner with leaders and stakeholders to support branch growth and real estate objectives.
- Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure quality, budget, and schedule expectations are met.
- Monitor project performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Analyze data, identify trends, and present insights to support decision-making.
- Support the development and implementation of construction strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver successful real estate and construction projects.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on construction-related matters and portfolio initiatives.
Current Internal home-based associates please note: Even as a campus-based posted role you are eligible to apply and, if selected, you may retain your home-based status. However future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work and some roles may carry a preference for campus-based presence.
Edward Jones’ compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm’s Employee Assistance Program. Skills/Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in construction management, corporate real estate, facilities management, project management, or a related field.
- Experience managing multiple construction projects and vendor relationships simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction, project delivery, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or advanced professional certification in a related field.
- Experience supporting large-scale corporate real estate portfolios.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), LEED, or related certification.
- Experience working with tenant improvement, office, or retail construction projects.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
